JEFF SIMPSON is a freelance producer and award-winning director, with 20 years experience in the BBC.  His debut feature film as co-director was selected as a Special Presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival 2012 and as the Cult Gala at the London Film Festival of 2012.  

'A Liar's Autobiography - the True Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman' is a feature-length animated movie in 3D written by and starring Graham Chapman, with a cast that includes John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam.   

Jeff has previously directed a number of high profile television documentaries for BBC, specialising in 60 minute features on music, TV and popular culture.  Prior to that, he was producer at the legendary music show, Top of the Pops.  

in his time, he has also been a movie reviewer for BBC Radio 6 Music, and he has written two books on music and popular culture.
